Cultural heritage study tour within the project "RefurbCulture"


On Thursday, April 25, Koprivnica hosted a cultural heritage study tour of the buildings and destinations of cultural heritage in Koprivnica as part of the project "Energy efficient refurbishment in cultural heritage buildings". This project involvs the City of Koprivnica, the Regional Energy Agency North and the Hungarian partner city of Hévíz. Within this activity, Hungarian visitors from the municipality of Hévíz visited the Podravka Nutrition Museum, the fortress of Koprivnica , the Gallery and the Museum and the Synagogue of the City, thus gaining insight into the cultural offer of the City.

Through the insight into the history of preparation and production of local food, a program of the Renaissance festival that visitors to Heviz from the costumed representatives of the Koprivnica Tourist Board, the current exhibition of the Gallery, Museum and Synagogue, cultural cross-border cooperation was reinforced. Also in the forthcoming period Hévíz will welcome visitors from Koprivnica with the aim of interconnecting.

In addition to the mentioned activities, the project envisages the development of documents related to the research of examples of energy refurbishment of cultural heritage buildings in the cross-border area and the EU.

Koprivnica and Hévíz as part of the project will develop the main project for energy refurbishment of the Museum of City of Koprivnica and Ville Pocza in Hévíz.

The project started on June 1, 2017 and ends on September 30, 2018. Its value is 1.35 million kuna, with the European Union co-financing a project worth 1.15 million kuna.
