On Wednesday, May 30th, in Hévíz, Hungary, a cultural heritage study tour of the buildings and destinations of cultural heritage was held in the framework of the project "Energy efficient refurbishment in cultural heritage buildings" (acronym RefurbCulture). This project involves the City of Koprivnica, the Regional Energy Agency North and the Hungarian partner city of Hévíz.
Within this activity, the visitors of the City, the Tourist Board of Koprivnica and the Tourist Board of Koprivnica - Križevci and the regional tourist offices gained insight into the tourist destinations of the town of Hévíz and insight into the tourism partners from the county partner area, getting acquainted with examples of good practice in Hungary, cultural and tourist links, examples of cultural offers and creating the preconditions for establishing a unique tourist offer in order to create future relevant cultural tourism activities within the tourist package of the two cities.
Koprivnica and Hévíz as part of the project will develop the main project for energy refurbishment of the Museum of Koprivnica and Villa Pocza in Hévíz.
The project started on June 1st, 2017 and ends on September 30th, 2018. Its value is 1.35 million kuna, with the EU co-financing of 1.15 million kuna.« Back
