In the framework of the project "Energy efficient refurbishment in cultural heritage buildings" (RefurbCulture) the final conference was held in Hévíz, Hungary.
The conference was held on the occasion of the European Co-operation Day with the aim of promoting co-operation between European regions and countries and achieved achievements. The conference was attended by representatives of Koprivnica City Project Project, Regional Energy Agency North and Hungarian City of Hévíz.
In the framework of the final conference, the City of Koprivnica as the lead partner and partners of the Regional Energy Agency North and the Hungarian partner Hévíz presented the results of the project, namely a series of common strategic documents: Research and analysis of the refurbishment of cultural heritage buildings in the cross-border region, Research and analysis of the refurbishment of cultural heritage buildings in the EU, Action Plan for Energy Refubishment of Cultural Heritage Buildings, Cross-border Strategy for Energy Refubishment of Cultural Heritage Buildings. Following on the presented documents, a discussion was held on the implementation of the Strategy for the Energy Refubishment of Cultural Heritage Building, ie the point of contact among the partners related to the cultural heritage, resources and financing possibilities of the building and the relevant accompanying contents of the cultural heritage building related to the strengthening of tourism in the cross-border area.
As a final result of the project Koprivnica and Hévíz have prepared project documentation for the energy refurbishment of the Museum in Koprivnica and Villa Pocza in Hévíz, which will serve as a basis for the energy refurbishment of buildings under cultural protection in future tenders.
The project started on June 1, 2017 and ends on September 30, 2018. Its value is 1.35 million kuna, with the EU co-financing of 1.15 million kuna.« Back
