On Thursday, April 25th, the City of Koprivnica hosted a tour of the buildings and destinations of cultural heritage in Koprivnica as part of the project "Energy efficient refurbishment in cultural heritage buildings". It is a project involving the City of Koprivnica, the Regional Energy Agency North and the Hungarian partner City of Hévíz. During this activity, the Hungarian visitors from the town of Hévíz visited the Podravka Food Museum, the Koprivnica City Wall, the Gallery and the Museum of the City of Koprivnica as well as the Synagogue, thus gaining insight into the cultural parts of the City.
Through the insight into the history of preparation and production of local food, the program of the Renaissance festival was presented to the visitors from Hévíz by costumed representatives of the Koprivnica Tourist Board. Also, the current exhibitions in the Gallery, Museum and Synagogue, reinforced cultural cross-border cooperation. In the forthcoming period Hévíz will also welcome visitors from Koprivnica with the aim of interconnecting.
In addition to the mentioned activities, through the project documents related to the research of examples of energy reconstruction of cultural buildings in the cross-border area and the EU will be developed.
Within the project, Koprivnica and Hévíz will make the main project for energy reconstruction of the Museum of the City of Koprivnica and Villa Pocza in Hévíz.
The project started on June 1, 2017 and will continue until September 30, 2018. Its value is 1.35 million HRK, with the European Union co-financing the project with 1.15 million HRK.« Vrati se
